Individuals should check in on the main floor of the convention. They will need to stand in line in order to print their badges and pick up their convention bags. Groups may use the Group Check-in area on the lower floor. Groups will skip the check-in line and be issued badges and convention bags immediately upon arriving at McCormick Place.

Where on the McCormick Place campus will the convention be held?
NCEA 2019 will be in the West Building of the McCormick Place campus. Click here for a map of the campus. Liturgies will be held in the Skyline Ballroom on the 3rd floor. McCormick Place is fully accessible. Elevators and escalators are available throughout the West Building.

What is the best way to travel to McCormick Place?
The Archdiocese of Chicago strongly recommends using a bus or parish van to bring faculty to the convention. We also recommend partnering with nearby schools to reduce the cost of busing. Groups arriving by bus or van may use the Group Check-In entrance and skip the long lines.

If you would prefer to use public transportation, please click here for information on CTA rail and bus service, Metra service, taxis, ride shares, and bike racks.

If you are planning on driving, click here for information on parking garage and lot locations, parking rates, and pre-paying for parking.

Will there be food available onsite?
McCormick place features more than a dozen restaurants and coffee shops as well as a food court and various cafes in the West Building. Click here for a list of available food options. Additionally, because of the number of attendees, McCormick Place will provide additional food vendors throughout the convention space.

Am I allowed to bring food from outside McCormick Place?
Attendees are allowed to bring their lunch from home or have meals delivered if they would like. Some groups are working with local restaurants to order boxed lunches to be delivered each day. The AoC cannot provide recommendations for restaurants, delivery companies, or dining areas.

What should I wear to the convention?
McCormick Place is very large, so please be sure to wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Tuesday, April 23rd is Spirit Day, so please wear your school colors that day!
